challenges through collaborative technologies. The Concatenate executive team
reflects that vision – its members combine a unique mix of technical expertise
with demonstrated success in the software industry. Concatenate’s two
principals, Michael Meltzer and Steve Wong, developed RetaiLease, a retail real
estate software system, which is currently used by over 70 national retailers.
Michael Bartha, Director of Products, has spent over 15 years building
enterprise software solutions and leading development and product management
teams. Along with its Services Department, Concatenate is confident that it has

Michael Meltzer, Principal
Michael Meltzer has been at the forefront of the Retail/Hospitality and
software industries for over twenty years - founder and CEO of Tequila Software;
VP of Retail Solutions at Accruent Inc.; senior asset and property manager. This
diverse career has provided extensive management experience in software
development, systems integration, and strategic planning. Michael brings this
wealth of knowledge and skills to Concatenate, where he leads sales and
marketing for the Real Estate, Retail and Hospitality sector.
Michael was a founding partner of Tequila Software, which developed a
groundbreaking store lifecycle management software system for retail chains. As
the CEO, Michael led Tequila to the point where it boasted more than 70 national
customers, including Borders, GNC, Payless, RadioShack, Staples, Zales, and the
GAP. By 2005, when Tequila was acquired by Accurent Inc., Tequila systems were
used to process more than $10 billion in rents.
Michael continued to excel as an Accruent executive, where he had
responsibility for the retail market. His efforts resulted in Accruent becoming
a dominant player in that sector. While at Accruent, Michael also held a seat on
Microsoft's Partner Advisory Board for Retail and Hospitality.
Steven Wong, Principal
Steven Wong is a software architect and strategic IT planner with over 15
years experience in the strategic use and deployment of advanced software
technologies. He has a strong track record in building software companies, a
passion for leading-edge technology, and extensive business management
experience. Before launching Concatenate Inc., Steven worked with a number of
software vendors involved in a wide range of vertical industries, including
Healthcare, Legal, Commercial Printing, and Retail and Hospitality.
Steven was the Vice President, Development at Tequila Software. He was
responsible for the creation and development of an enterprise retail lease
management software system. After Tequila’s acquisition by Accruent Inc., Steven
continued as a Sr. Director at Accruent, and was largely responsible for a new
architecture and technology that lead to its software being showcased live at
Microsoft’s World Wide Partner Keynote Presentation.
Steven is a highly sought guest speaker at various CTO and development
conferences where he has presented on a diverse range of topics, including
enterprise architecture, Web 2.0, SOA, and Microsoft technologies.
Michael Bartha, Director of Products
Michael boasts some 16 years in the software/systems design and
implementation fields, where he has gained a solid understanding of clients’
strategic and tactical needs. As head of Concatenate’s products department
Michael leads our project solution teams, and serves as business liaison between
our customers and our developers.
Michael has developed a particular expertise in the retail and hospitality
sectors, where he has engaged in a number of enterprise wide projects, including
the transformation of a client-server retail software system into a web-based
solution, as well as the creation of a facilities management software system.
