Every red flag arrives with its options.
Insights ties 28 interventions to the Scorecard’s red flags — from “Early renewal campaign” to “Open a lender dialogue” — each with a summary and its first steps. Your team still makes the call. The Playbook makes sure the options are on the table this period, because caught a quarter later, the options narrow.
- Engage debt brokers or lenders and assemble the financing package.
- Test the market 12–18 months ahead of maturity to lock optionality.
- Prepare a performance narrative and the path back to compliance.
- Discuss headroom and pre-empt a breach rather than reacting to one.
Course correction, written down before you need it.
A red flag tells you what’s wrong. The Playbook says what firms like yours do about it — so the conversation starts with options, not with a blank page.
28 interventions, in plain CRE
The moves an experienced asset manager reaches for, each written as an action someone can own — from “Early renewal campaign” and “Negotiate a payment plan” to “Open a lender dialogue”.
Tied to the flag that fired
Each red flag carries the interventions that answer it. LTV near threshold brings Open a lender dialogue, Plan a principal paydown and Request a reappraisal.
A summary and first steps
Every intervention says what it is and why in one line, then lists the first things to do — concrete enough to assign on Monday.
In your house language
Reword any title, summary or step on the Playbook tab — editing needs approver access — and the saved wording applies everywhere the guidance appears. Restore default any time.
Where decisions get made
Under each flag on the Scorecard, in Insights AI’s answers, on the review agenda as the proposed action, and on the Actions tab beside flags nobody has picked up yet.
Across the book, too
When the same issue shows on several assets, the portfolio Scorecard recommends a set of actions for it — one response, not six separate ones.
Your firm’s words, wherever the guidance shows.
Every firm already has a way it handles a slow payer or a covenant squeeze. Write it in. On the Playbook tab under Asset Surveillance, an approver can retitle an intervention, rewrite its summary or replace its steps — and the Scorecard, Insights AI and the review agenda all use the new wording from then on.
- Change one field and keep the rest: a new summary can sit on top of the coded steps.
- Each intervention stays tied to its category and its red flags — the wording moves, the logic doesn’t.
- Restore default puts the original wording back. Everyone else sees the Playbook view-only.

- Offer up to three instalments under 60 days; over that, legal review first.
- Get the agreement signed and filed before the next rent date.
- Log it as an action, with the plan in this period’s note.
A suggestion becomes someone’s action.
Options only help once someone takes one on. The asset’s Actions tab lists every flagged Scorecard condition with no action against it, each with its suggested response — raise the action from there, owner and due date set. Or take it to the review: when the meeting approves an agenda item, it becomes an action carrying the owner and target date agreed in the room.
- The action joins the asset’s register and carries forward every period until it’s closed.
- Toggle it On the commentary report and On the next review — the owner sees what’s being done.
- Accepted suggestions record where they came from, so proposed work is easy to tell from your own.
It puts the options on the table. You choose.
Ask Insights AI about a red flag and it answers with the evidence and your Playbook, in your house wording. It can draft the action or propose the item for the next review — and nothing joins the register or the agenda until a person accepts it. Connected AI tools can do the same over MCP, once an admin switches writes on.
- Your wording — the Playbook it quotes is the one your approvers edited.
- Proposals, not decisions — a proposed review item waits for the team to accept or discard it.
- Writes off by default — admin-enabled, audit-logged, and an agent can never delete.
